As well as leading big retreats our Dhammakranti work includes leading smaller retreats in outlaying areas. This is the third talk given to a small retreat held in Kushinagar the site of the Buddha's parinibhana.
A central aspect of all Buddhist teaching is personal responsibility; this is true in India as much as anywhere else. One of the ways in which we emphasis this is by clearly stating the importance of meditation as a direct means of transforming the mind. In this talk Subhuti introduces meditation in a context where meditation comes with some misunderstandings and assumptions that need to be resolved.
