A wonderful new series of talks given by Nagasiddhi at Rivendell Retreat Centre during the April 2021 home retreat ‘In the footsteps of the Buddha’ hosted by the Buddhist Centre Online. This magical week-long retreat explored the images, myths and symbols of the Buddha’s journey to awakening using dharma talks, meditation, storytelling, puppetry and art.
We are taken through seven key stages of the Buddha's mythic quest, from his unsure setting out, through his wrong turnings, his breakthroughs and his decision to share what he had learned with others. A perfect way to recall the life of the Buddha as Nagasiddhi brings his infectious sense of imagination, play and grounded experience to bear on a story that's always made new in the retelling.
